Before you start

  • About 10 minutes.

  • Your price list. A photo works.

  • The names of the people who take clients. Their email addresses are optional.

  1. Open Clovie and tap Get started.

  2. Tap Continue with Google, Continue with Apple or Continue with email.

  3. If you chose email, type the 6-digit code we sent you.

Tell Clovie about your business

  1. Pick what kind of business you run, like Hair salon or Barber.

  2. Type your business name.

  3. If Clovie asks "Is this your shop?", check it's yours. Clovie then brings in your hours, address and phone.

  4. Under Prices and time, check the money you charge in and your city.

  5. Choose Just me or A team, then set how many people take clients.

  6. Add their names. An email is optional and sends them an invite to the app.

Add your services

  1. Tap Take a photo and fit the whole price list in the frame.

  2. On Check your services, tap each row that needs a look and fix it.

  3. Confirm the rows that look clear, then tap Add.

No price list to hand? Tap Type them in instead. You start from a list of common services. Add a price to each one and remove what you don't do.

Check your hours and what Clovie will say

  1. On When are you open?, change any day that's different from your door sign.

  2. Tap Looks right.

  3. On What I'll tell your clients, check each part and tap Looks right.

  4. Tap Finish setup.

When you finish, Clovie opens. To start taking bookings, add a card and connect WhatsApp. Until setup is done, Updates on Chat shows Get set up with what is left.

Tip: On the first screen, turn on Read each step to me to hear every step aloud.

Important: Clovie can't go live while a service has no price or is a starter you haven't checked.

Next: Add your services from a photo

Still stuck?

Open Clovie and ask in Chat.
